Leadership Post
I guess for me a leader turns out to be more of a friend than a figure you just look up to. A teacher I had is one of those people you may only find once of in your life. Through my years of middle school, he helped me out with homework, if I had a couple over due homework assignments, he would make sure I got them done. He also got me interested in things like the Civil War, Shakespeare, Lord Of The Rings and Monty Python. He would often recite quotes from Monty Python. He was the teacher who liked working with kids, even though some people did not like him. He also liked directing the school musical, which inspired lots of kids. I think one of the greatest things he did for me was in eighth grade, I was not connecting with my teacher very well, and about half way through the year, I decided I wanted to switch classes. So we had a meeting, my mom came in, and I had a conversation with him and my than present teacher. It went well, and I got to go to his core for the rest of the year. A leader has to be someone who understands people's weaknesses so that they can help them over come them. A leader also has to inspire their followers to be the best they can be.
